Sayulita
I think one of the most beautiful things about anyone is if they are truly happy. These people radiate a certain vibe that comes from within and outshines anything else. True happiness, I’m learning, is all encompassing. This means we are happy mentally, emotionally, and physically. This translates to greater overall wellness and balanced lives. It’s hard to achieve this balance when we are stuck in the grind, dealing with oblivious people, and racing around town to fulfill our to-dos. However, these are the days when we need to seek that balance the most.
Sayulita was the ultimate reset button, ocean waves crashing into the sand, sun warming my bones, and the best crew! I think who we choose to spend our time with is the greatest influence on our happiness. We could be in the most beautiful place in the world, but if we are surrounded by people who aren’t able to appreciate the little moments and be positive, it won’t matter. Finding people who elevate your vibe on a daily basis will help you enhance your happiness and be the best version of yourself.
This lil five day vacay to Sayulita was just what my heart needed after finishing up nursing school and taking my boards. We flew into Puerto Vallarta and took our time cruising up the coast. We all needed some food, so we stopped at a cute coastal town, Bucerias. We sat beachside and snacked on ceviche, seafood, and sipped on margaritas {which we proceeded to do everyday thereafter, oops}. After getting our fill, we continued the rest of the way up to Sayulita. This town blew my mind! The colors, the people, the food + positive vibes all day. Not to mention the gorgeous views; you give me an ocean, I’m one happy camper.
If you haven’t visited this place, you should. It’s a lil slice of heaven.
